At the last meeting held on 17 November we discussed who we could have as guest speakers next year. Road safety officer from Harrow, police officers and town planners were just some of the ideas throw up. Will keep you all posted.

On the 20 Nov. I went to Barnet Ass. meeting held at Hyundai showrooms at West Hendon where we were given a talk on the future of CPD, followed by an interesting talk on the parameters of bay parking which produced a lively debate.

This year I will be making a concertive effort to increase our membership. Looking at incentives such as free listing on our web site and graduated membership fees.

Membership fees for 2008 are £10.00 p.a.

I've just been reading through the latest copy of the Highway Code and have found this interesting fact.

As we all know, it is against the law to drive with rear fog lights on when it is NOT 'foggy'. However it appears that it is not illegal to drive without fog lights on IN the 'fog'. Funny old world eh?
